please, please make as much noise as you can about the upcoming, as in tonight or tomorrow, senate health bill.
You senators' contact information is here: http://www.opencongress.org/people/senators
Michelle Malkin as a continually updated post on the corruption in the bill here: http://michellemalkin.com/2009/11/20/the-demcare-bribe-list/
Among other things, included in the bill is $1M earmarked exclusively for Louisiana as a bride to a Louisiana senator with a swing vote, and then there's this:
| Quote: | The Senate health care bill does not contain the Stupak amendment the House approved that stops abortion funding under the public option and affordability credits.
Instead, the measure contains a slightly-reworded version of the much-maligned Capps amendment, which a House committee approved on a partisan vote and which pro-life groups say is an accounting scheme to hide government-funded abortions.
|
Please, if you love what used to be your country-- call your senators. There's no going back on this one. |

Sorry, Marica...
The communists in D.C. have proven again how little they care for their countrymen or listening to their wishes.
I had a big long post typed up about how peed I am at those damn liberal sons(and daughters) of bitches in D.C., then lost the connection, so I guess God doesn't want me ranting about the crap they're doing to ruin my country.
There hasn't been any aspect of my life he hasn't affected drastically; from how I think of people to how I live.
Since the black god was elected, there's not been one conversation where I haven't been accused of being racist for not supporting him. There's not a day goes by I'm not reminded of how shitty my country is by this knee-bending, kow-towing, lying a$$hole. (I won't apologize for being vulgar and peed about this, so don't be offended, please. I'm just so damn angry.)
But I don't see any way short of gunfire making any difference to this regime. Electing new officials won't do it- they'll be swallowed up as readily as the current crop. They've proven that time after time regardless what they say on the stump. We've got to remove the talking heads in the MSM and the communist leaders in this country.
Maybe when they start wondering if they'll make it home after their work-shift they'll start doing the right thing, but I doubt it. Those people feed on carrion.
I'd better quit now while I'm still half-sane.

It is maddening, Kymber. I am just thankful we got out of the city and back to the country when we did.
The last time I felt like this was when I was trying, begging, pleading with my now ex to just part ways amicably. That didn't work. It was very very ugly. There is even a court document describing me as being a "free spirit." I'm very proud of this! But I am the one that survived, and FLOURISHED, not ex. I am hoping that the same can be said for all of us free spirits! |

Marica - regardless of where we live - WE are all free spirits...we are free spirits that want to be FREE! and that kind of free is nowhere better expressed than the American Constitution!
all Americans need to try, beg and plead....and you all must remember that other nations expect you to do so - BECAUSE YOU ARE AMERICA - THE LAND OF THE FREE!
other countries expect very much of you Americans - you must remember this! YOU stuck your necks out there early on and we have come to expect much of our American brothers and sisters...and we do so because we can! Because your country was established on the principles of freedom and democracy!
so get out there - get your voices heard - and remember - you are speaking on behalf of the hundreds of millions who support you all from countries near and far!
Thanks Marica (and so sorry, honey, that you went thru all of that!)
GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!! |

It matters none what Washington D.C. says, thinks, implements, or legislates. They are just men and they have no power over the States and the Rule of Law unless we the people continue to bow down and accept chains of masters. When Americans awake to this fact we will once again control our own destiny in the Republic our forefathers created. We the people hold power through our States. The movement for restoring and reasserting States Rights under the Tenth Amendment and informing Americans what has been taken from them is well under way across America.
The shining beacon of light emanating from our Constitution towards Liberty is the 10th Amendment. We must stop looking towards Washington and focus our energy fully on State Capitols across the country. Read both of your Constitutions and start enforcing them at your State Capitol. 10th Amendment or secession. www.tenthamendmentcenter.com/

| While I personally believe that it is our constitutional right and our cvic DUTY to let our representatives know how we feel and how upset we are about this, I have to agree with some of the others that this will not do any good. At the most, it might let them know they are working against our desires and a few "on the dence" types might be puruades. However, it is increasingly clear that they are not going to listen to us and will continue on this socialistic road. The time is coming when we will have to literally fight for our rights and our country. When that time gets here, look for a huge distraction from the country to divert us. JMO |

| On optimistic days I believe we-- those of us who are the intellectual and spiritual descendants of the original colonists and immigrants-- will prevail. Historically, when we're paying attention, we have. We haven't always paid attention-- we were too busy going out our lives and being productive. I think a lot of people are starting to pay more attention and are not liking what they see. At least that's what I hope. |

I hope so too Marcia. Good to see ya back Shy, you rant away! Your thoughts always reflect what I'm feeling, you go right ahead and rant.
I don't think anything short of another American Civil War will stop the insanity being spewed from our federal government. Obama and his lackies are hell bent on usurping our freedoms and creating a NWO controlled by the banksters and corporate bigheads. |
